Who is behind ARÔME?

I created Arôme with the desire to bring a little taste of France to Houston.

My family and I recently settled here to begin a new adventure.

Through Arôme, I want to share my French culture and the specialties that are close to my heart, while discovering how that culture can grow and evolve through its encounter with American culture and experience.

For me, this adventure is also a way to find our place in this new community and contribute, in our own way, to local life.


I hope Arôme will be a welcoming neighborhood spot where everyone can rediscover or discover the simple pleasure of good things: bread, croissants, pains au chocolat, and traditional French galettes, all carefully prepared using certified organic ingredients.

We even have those covered chaussons aux pommes!

Quality is essential to me. I feel that too often, quality is sacrificed in favor of quantity or speed.


My wish is for Arôme to become a little bridge between France and Houston: sharing the best of what France has to offer, learning from our new American community, and creating a place where everyone feels welcome.
